I've got a huge goal to meet and maintain and I need help getting there. That is why my guardian angel sent me here. Looking forward to talking to more of you.

I have found in the last month and half that I have had a trainer that my eating hasn't changed at all. And that must have my equal focus. Anyone have any pointers?

Hey Heather,

Thanks for saying Hi on my profile, it was great to be introduced to you.

I had a look at the link that you sent me about pH balance and it is very interesting. I have been aware about work like this before and I have various opinions on the subject. (Mind you, if you get to me you'll find I generally have an opinion on everything, ha ha.)

pH balance is important and the background that this information is based on does carry truth. However, this is very personalised to the individual and there isn't really a one size fits all answer. So along the lines of 'Biochemical Individuality' each person has a different capacity to maintain their pH in different environments. Nutrition does definitely change the environment of your insides and that is a fact, but it affects different people in different ways.

Of course processed foods filled with chemicals affect everyone in a negative way as they are still regarded by the body as foreign bodies, though the basic composition of protein:carbs:fats also affects the pH. Meat for example is known as raising the acidity, however some constitutions can handle larger quantities of meat without noticing problems with their pH balance, while others ingest a lesser amount and suffer with problems.

Unfortunately I can not answer the situation for you though there are very crude rules of thumb that I will share with you sometime if you are interested.

Be good to stay in touch and keep me posted on your progress.

Have a great day

Dean

Another pound down, have a trainer, and am on my way thanks to a "ton" (pardon the pun) of accountability.
